Why does your New York City datacenter report as New Jersey? Print

  • 0

Our datacenter in New York City is located in the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area which is the home to a large number of enterprise level datacenters. The facility is less than 10 miles from downtown Manhattan and utilizes DWDM (dark fiber) backhauls to the major network peering exchanges in New York City. This infrastructure guarantees our network latency is the same as it would be if the datacenter were in downtown Manhattan or any other part of New York City. The datacenter also offers nearly unlimited capacity for expansion at both the hardware/power and network levels, something that is not readily available in other New York City based locations.
