How do I create a MySQL database?

All shared, reseller, and semi-dedicated hosting plans include the ability to create unlimited MySQL databases through cPanel. To create a MySQL database manually:

  1. Login to cPanel at

  2. Use the provided search to locate and click the MySQL Databases interface:

  3. From the top of the MySQL Databases interface use the provided form to enter your new database name. After entering your database name click the Create Database button:

  4. Your newly created database will now appear under the Current Databases interface:
