There are several possible causes for you being unable to connect to your FTP:

1. You're behind a router or firewall that's blocking port 21. You will need to have these ports opened to connect via FTP.
   
   
2. Double check that the hostname you're using is correct. If you're using your domain and you just signed up you may want to try the server IP provided.
   
   
3. Verify your username and password are correct. Try logging into the control panel to verify you're using the right information.
   
   
4. Your computer has been temporarily blocked for too many invalid login attempts. This will automatically be removed after an hour, though if you need to expedite this please contact our support department.
